The Farley Foundation was established by the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association (OVMA) in 2001 and assists people in need by subsidizing the cost of veterinary care for the pets that mean the world to them.

Ontario veterinarians recognize the special relationship that exists between people and their pets. Referred to as the Human-Animal Bond, this phenomenon has been written about and studied for years.

Pets are important to the health and well-being of their owners. This is particularly true for the elderly or persons with disabilities, who depend heavily on their pets for companionship. That’s why the Farley Foundation provides funding for veterinary services to elderly or disabled pet owners who cannot otherwise afford such treatment.

Red Ribbon Forces

As proud Canadians in support of our troops Founder Eleanor Bookman and volunteer Brian Goodfellow are each the happy recipients of the Queens Diamond Jubilee Medal!

THE CANADIAN RED RIBBON FORCES  support our Canadian Troops  by displaying and selling RED Ribbons. This money raised by the Red Ribbon forces goes to help Veterans and their families, This is a very worthy cause and we are proud to be a supporter of this cause.

Feb 11, 2013 Brian Goodfellow received the Queens Diamond Jubilee medal on Parliament Hill.

Feb 20, 2013, Founder Eleanor Bookman received the same honour at South Stormont Town Hall.

Hopefully this will help us receive more support in helping our Canadian Military!
